During a week long study abroad to the eastern shore of Virginia, I had the opportunity to work with The Nature Conservancy in producing creative solutions for oyster bed restoration.

Research into natural and man-made oyster beds guided this exploration, providing valuable insight. In a small group with my peers, we created a durable and lightweight form that will aid in the conservancy's efforts to regrow oyster population.

While staying at the eastern shore, I also documented my experiences in a sketchbook - spending time in fleeting moments and learning about this unique environment.
